Earth Legacy is a collaboration of a diverse group of civil
society organizations seeking to restore U.S. leadership in the
protection of the global environment. We want to assure that we will
leave our children a world as healthy, bountiful, and beautiful as
the one we inherited. We share a profound concern about the
degradation of the Earth’s natural systems that threatens our
nation’s security and the health, safety, and well-being of the
American public. We will be pooling our resources to increase the
visibility of global environmental issues in the upcoming national
debate about the future of our nation and the engagement of citizens
who share our concern. We will encourage and promote constructive
U.S. cooperation with other nations in the preservation of our
planet’s environment.
